The case study example starts with a description of a district leadership team's (DLT) activities and then focuses on school-based leadership teams (SBLT) to illustrate the change process across these two levels of the system.
The DLT determined that they had the resources to focus on implementation of Tier 1 within five schools.
Two school psychologists served on the DLT providing expertise on mental health intervention, assessment, and data-based decision making.
Overall, the DLT was pleased with the success of the first year of implementation and was eager to secure more resources to scale-up the initiative with additional schools that had expressed interest in participating.
These data were reviewed by the DLT and used to promote the overall success of the initiative and to problem solve barriers.
